Summer 2024 Hog Hunt Report

We’ve been doing a ton of scouting lately, and the hog movement is as good as we have seen in a while. We are spotting larger sounders, and the Texas hog hunting is as good as it gets right now! The hogs have really been hitting the creeks and water holes, as the lack of rain is leaving the area dry. The hogs have been in the hay fields at night, now that the Bahia grass seeds are matured. This is a great food source for wild hogs in the summer months. We are also getting call after call from landowners who are having hogs come into their yard. The irrigated grass is easy rooting compared to the hard dry ground elsewhere. The thermal hog hunts have been very productive, and we expect this to continue throughout the summer. We have been making big gear improvements to prepare for the upcoming Fall season.
